OUR PASTORS
Michael & Emily Liebler
Hey! We are Michael and Emily Liebler. Our friends call us Mike & Em. We are Long Island natives, high school sweethearts, and passionate about inspiring people to follow Jesus. Local Church was a dream that started in our hearts as teenagers, but it took 5 years of working on cruise ships and 5 years working at a church in the mid-west before we finally decided to head back to Long Island to start a new church in the fall of 2021. We’re committed to sound Biblical theology. Although our methods and style may be contemporary, our doctrine is quite traditional. And even though we are a non-denominational church, we belong to a reputable, world-wide church planting organization called Stadia. We also belong to a large and notable parent church in Kansas City called Grace Church. These organizations provide us with accountability and oversight. Click here to view our statement of belief.
